So, I will apologize for not really writing much lately, but I've not had much to say, however, I do now, and there will be some forthcoming posts about interesting things such as the 'quarter century crisis' as well as the research I've actually been doing. So, stay tuned for those, this post however, will solely be photos from a long time ago. We rented a car for the weekend a while back with our friends from NY, and drove down to Cape Point (the tip of the continent), the Cape of Good Hope, and back up past Hout Bay and Camps Bay to Cape Town on that Saturday. Sunday we got lost trying to find Cheetah Outreach (see here: http://www.cheetah.co.za/) which "is an education and community-based programme created to raise
awareness of the plight of the cheetah and to campaign for its survival." And then visited the Spier Wine Estate for some tasty grub at the farm-to-table restaurant Eight. It was quite an adventure, mainly due to the fact one has to drive on the left side of the road, on the right right of the car. But we all survived and are still taking in the awe inspiring beauty of this amazing place. I apologize for not writing anything for a while, but life gets away from you when you are trying to figure life out. Enjoy the photos!

| We saw this little guy right after getting out of the car and my friend exclaimed, "where are the penguins?!" |
| Flora and fauna is stunning here |
| So, this is down the Cape Peninsula on the other side from Cape Town, past Simon's Town. This view looks back towards Muizenburg where we went surfing with my friend. |
| The geology of this country is fascinating. |
| PENGUINS |
| They are pretty amazing creatures. They mate for life! And will bite you! |
| It was so pretty, as the clouds were lifting. Off to the left is Simon's Town. |
| YAY! |
| This one is for Schuyler. |
| Baby penguins. Look at them. They are SO cute and furry! |
| On our way further down the Cape! EXCITEMENT! This place is most definitely in the top 5 most beautiful places I've ever been, and in the world. |
| Do not feed, or pet the Baboons. They will eat your head off. We locked the doors promptly. |
| I think this was Big Poppa Baboon. Do not cross him. He looks like he could kick some serious human butt. |
| Almost to Cape Point! |
| This one says New York. Pretty far away. |
| I could not figure out how to rotate this pic. I'm glad New Delhi is on this post. |
| Looking back toward Cape Town. This photo does not do it justice. |
| A little blurry, but there it is, the tip of the African continent. |
| This road was wild, some how carved into the side of these mtns that fell into the sea. |
